  • I’m a cat person more than a dog person

  • I juice every 2 months
  • I was a Vegetarian for 10 years, but now I eat pretty much anything (in moderation)

Do you read non-fiction books?

I seldom read non-fiction. On the few occasions I read non-fiction it is usually biographies.
Which book or series do you consider a must-read?

The Lord of The Rings by J. R .R. Tolkien
How do you pick your next book to read?

From several sources, Goodreads, Publisher’s Weekly, book blogs, etc…
Do you use bookmarks, or dog-ear?

Bookmarks, of course 🙂
Do you read beautiful passages a number of times, to savor like a wine tester?

Yes
Do you drop the book if you are not engaged in first 50 pages?

I don’t have a set rule for when to drop a book. I have given up on books in the first chapters as well as half-way through the story.
Which book would you most like to see done as a movie?

I don’t usually like movie adaptations of books, with very rare exceptions.

Fiction

What author would be your best friend?

I’m in love with with Liane Moriarty right now. Her sense of humor is fanstastic. She is witty and fun. I think she would be a great friend.

Physical book or Ereader?

I read both, as well as listen to audiobooks, but I’m a traditional type of gal and I love the smell of books.

A place you’d love to travel to?

Paris, in a heartbeat.

Your favorite vacation spot?

Majorca, Spain.

If you could have dinner with any author. Who would it be?

Stephen King.

Your favorite book character?

Ah, that’s a hard one! I love strong female characters. I have to say my very first heroine was Elizabeth Bennet.

  • I smell my books
